Connect with other homeschoolers

Find your people

Homeschooling is far less lonely than it looks. There are two ways to find your homefolk here: the map for real groups near you, and the community board for talking with families anywhere, anytime.

The map: people near you

Hundreds of hand-verified co-ops, forest schools, and homeschool groups, every one checked by hand with a live website. Filter to your state.

The board: talk anytime

Ask the questions every new homeschooler has, swap what works, and find your people beyond your zip code. Searchable, friendly, and moderated.

Launching soon. Here is what to expect.

The community board

A friendly place to ask, share, and connect, organized by topic and by state so advice is specific and easy to find. We are setting it up now. However big it grows, the rules stay simple and human.

House rules

  • Be kind and assume good faith. Different families make different honest choices.
  • Keep it useful: real questions, real experience, no spam or self-promotion.
  • Protect kids: no last names, addresses, schedules, or photos of other people's children.
  • Adults only (18+) post here. This is a space for parents and guardians.
  • No medical, legal, or financial advice as fact. Share experience, link sources.
  • Report anything off. A real person reviews and moderates.

The board is launching soon. In the meantime, find local families on the map, or become Homefolk and we will tell you the day it opens.

Know a group we are missing? Add it, and we review every submission personally. Spot a pin that is out of date? Report a change and we will re-check it. That is how the map stays honest. See how we verify.
